Intern, Project Coordinator, EatonCare (8-month term)
Eaton is looking for an
8-month Summer Intern, EatonCare (Project Coordinator) for our Burlington,
Ontario Headquarters facility.
The incumbent will proactively manage and coordinate the commercial aspects of basic to high value project orders containing standard, assembled-to-order and engineered-to-order equipment. The incumbent will serve as a customer advocate and demonstrate a leadership role in complex issues related to the project, while communicating with plants, field sales, and assigned customer base regarding the status of orders including maintaining production schedules and addressing logistical concerns to ensure on-time and accurate delivery of project commitments.
Maintain the commercial integrity of assembled to order projects. This includes reviewing and understanding customer purchase order requirements, ensuring system data integrity, and maintaining financial control measures
Manage multiple project orders and prioritize time and tasks effectively to serve Eaton’s customers
Maintain the scheduling and financial tracking of all assigned project orders including accurate invoicing, on-time shipments, and logistical planning
Communicate effectively with project managers, plants, credit, field sales, and other internal departments to ensure accurate, on-time delivery of project commitments
Communicate directly with the assigned customer base regarding the status of orders, shipment schedule, invoicing etc.
Maintain company objectives throughout the order cycle while keeping logistical and financial harmony
Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton’s Philosophy and Values as well as the Safety and Environmental standards
High School Diploma required
Actively enrolled in a Business, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Science Degree in progress
Enrolled and Returning to a post-secondary program
This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must reside within 80km of Burlington, Ontario to be considered.
Must be authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
