As Manager Business Strategic Partnerships, you will:

  • Define and propose the segment innovation/strategy for Industrial and Residential businesses
  • Develop the strategy for new cross-segment and cross divisional businesses in alignment with Electrical Sector’s strategy
  • Identify, select, establish and execute new strategic partnerships and acquisition targets
  • Manage new strategic Partner Development projects
  • Drive and support divisional merger & acquisition activities
You will work within our world class Marketing Team in our Vienna Location reporting to our Market Development Director responsible for Industrial and Residential business.

Your key deliverables:

  • Develop and maintain new strategic partnerships
  • Initiate large commercial cross segment/divisional projects with strategic partners considering voice of customer, markets trends and competitors
  • Receive market feedback from the segment team, product line and Country Sales Organizations as an input for the segment strategies, and possible strategic partnerships
  • Analyse and evaluate competitors, markets and trends in consideration of new business opportunities. Select target markets and segments based on strategic plan
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and competitive trends
  • Cooperate and align with Segments, Finance, Innovation & Program Management, other divisions, as well as Electrical Sector EMEA functions as Marketing, Key Account Management and Segment Management
  • Communicate and present strategies, actions and results to the Power Distribution Division (PDD) leadership and Electrical Sector
  • Drive innovation for new business opportunities in close cooperation with PDD Innovation
  • Support merger and acquisitions activities within the division in alignment with ES EMEA strategy

Qualifications

Do you have / Are you?

Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree or Master 's degree in Marketing/Business administration, additional Engineering education is an asset
  • 5-10 years’ experience in product management or sales, business development and/or business management experience
  • Experience in having direct contact and negotiations with customers / suppliers and key stakeholders
  • Languages: English fluent (spoken and written) German is an asset
  • Strong business acumen, bottom-line oriented, legal background is an asset
  • Strong technical aptitude, product knowledge (including UL, IEC standards)
  • Experience in developing and executing strategies for new applications and/or businesses
  • Highly motivated and proven ability to operate in a matrix environment leveraging appropriate resources
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills, professional presence
  • Ability to work in an intercultural environment

Desired:
  • Experience abroad (outside EMEA) is a plus

Depending on the qualification, we offer a compensation according to the Austrian collective bargaining agreement of the electrical and electronics industry in the respective employment group taking into account the years of service in the respective employment group, willingness to overpay depending on the relevant professional experience and qualification.
