OEM Supply Chain Analyst
Eaton’s Vehicle division is currently seeking a OEM Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Aguascalientes facility.
Understands and supports the planning, ordering, scheduling and tracking of customer material requirements in order to meet and/or exceed delivery performance for our OEM Customers.
•Plan, schedule and expedite material releases for the product line
•Follow up the performance for the scheduling production lines through the use of the MRP system
•Manage all inventory levels to reach plant & divisional goals for OEM Markets
•Maintain the customer OTD targets controlling the deliveries thought the OEM Customers Portals and their specific requirements such as Q1, BIQs, MMOG, and others.
A. Maintains the quantity of materials needed to support production schedules.
B. Tracks inbound purchases, communicates materials shortages, reviews materials requirements against forecasted shipping specifications; reports resource issues and potential corrective actions to appropriate personnel.
C. Manages schedules and overseas the ordering of material/part resources to meet production build specifications.
D. Interfaces and assists suppliers in managing constraints, overcoming issues and planning corrective actions in order to attain 100% performance outcomes for supplier delivery systems.
E. Create and distribute assembly schedules and review them with product line team members
Trained as a qualified backup for the Master Scheduler position to temporarily cover the main responsibilities of the position when the Master Scheduler is out of the plant
F. Support to pursue alternative materials procurement and sourcing methods to supplement MRP planning strategies.
G. Actively participates in analyzing and maintaining appropriate inventory levels per customer specifications.
H. Analyzes material requirements; plans and initiates schedules to support customer production schedule and plans.
I. Updates resource planning/tracking database to ensure customer ship schedules are on-time and on-schedule.
J. In charge to maintain the optimal inventory levels in the plant for the specific market.
K. Demonstrate the application of the 8 CIF modules and support related initiatives on daily basis through establishing, maintaining and complying his/her Standard Work and other tools. Participate in Kaizen events, Lean Council and Continuous Improvement teams when required. Generate ideas for improvement according with the local programs. Implement and optimize Lean Management tools. Sustain the ELLS tools (VSM, 5´s, TMP, STW, Set up, Problem Solving, Materials Management and 6 Sigma) to drive the continuous improvement performance when apply.
L. Review as a daily basis the OEM Customer Portals and assists in the management of plant inventory levels and 100% on-time customer delivery by analyzing changes in daily customer releases, and assures proper EDI posting of customer order releases and revisions in the Aguascalientes materials planning system for effective production scheduling
M- Analyze the demand and the forecast for the OEM Markets and help on the qualitative and quantitative methods to predict short-term incoming demand for use as an input into the Sales, Inventory, & Operations Planning (SIOP) process.

3-5 years of experience in production environment (OEM Markets required)
Knowledge in planning, production and customer service and OEM markets4
MRP knowledge ( Oracle)
OEM Customers Portals Certified ( Covisint )
Solid knowledge of Just-in-Time & LEAN manufacturing concepts
English language required
College degree in related field preferred.
Command of providing exceptional Suppliers negotiation skills
PC programs such as Microsoft Word (word processing) and Excel (spreadsheets) and PowerPoint (presentations).
Scheduling concepts and skills.
Solid understanding of process flows from supplier through internal consumption to delivery to external customers
Strong communications skills (Spanish & English)
Ability to adapt & change according to customer demand
APICS would be a plus
