Production Manager


Working for Eaton’s award-winning production team, you will lead and manage the production team at Bedhampton.


Your key deliverables:


The Production Manager is responsible for leading assembly and test operations including, shipping and receiving with output more than $70M annually and leadership for salaried and hourly employees.

This role drives continuous improvements in production, quality, and safety through the framework of the Eaton Business System.


  • Champion a culture change within the workforce of teamwork, employee involvement, and continuous improvement through High Performance Work Teams (HPWTs)

  • Drive continuous improvement through the use of EBS, Lean, and HPWTs.

  • Achieve revenue increase through the execution of monthly production plans resulting in on-time delivery performance and reduction of past due backlog.

  • Effectively manage plant assets through leadership of maintenance and facilities resources.

  • Achieve labor productivity, reduction of overtime and lead cost reduction efforts to drive factory cost take out.

  • Manage site capital planning and execution processes.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to establish processes to improve ATP first pass yield.

  • Champion implementation of MESH to achieve improvement in year over year safety performance measures.

  • Champion implementation of Lean in all areas of the offices and factory.

  • Train and develop the operations team leaders.


Are you?



  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and tool sets

  • Understanding of manufacturing technologies and processes

  • Ability to direct and lead cross-functional process improvement teams

  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and deadlines

  • Knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process logic is preferred

  • Understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts (production planning, scheduling, purchasing, supplier selection, inventory control, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping/receiving
