Job Description

Eaton’s Hydraulics division is currently seeking Tech Engineer to join our team.

This position is based at our Reynosa facility.

The Tech Engineer is responsible for Support on the engineering activities needed on production floor at Harnesses areas in preparation for launching and introducing new products on time; Keep with current production paper work up to date.

Some activities related with the position will be:

  • Develop, Review and update Process Instructions and production floor documentation for Harness Tubing assemblies such as manufacturing instructions, quality records, technical standards, etc.

  • Support New Product Introduction Engineer during prototype and pilot builds as well as process set up

  • Review and validate process routings on MfgPro system as required

  • Train production operators on new part numbers on 1st. and 2nd shifts

  • Identify and validate new fixtures/frames

  • Support on coordination of Preventive & Corrective Maintenance execution of formed harnesses molds

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or equivalent (preferable), but if not at least high school

  • Experience could replace university education

  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)

  • Knowledge and use of MoGro System (QAD) – Preferable

  • Able to interpret and translate engineering documents (drawings, prints, instructions) from English to Spanish
