Eaton’s Corporate division is currently seeking a Account Analyst to join our team.

This position is based at our Querétaro facility.

The Account Analyst is responsible for Perform activities for the monthly closing process. Perform Balance sheet Review (BSR).  Review T&E and perform AP tracking and validation, perform Payroll reconciliation Payroll entries and accruals entries.

Some activities related with the position will be:

  • Perform the monthly closing process 

  • Treasury, Grid Note & ZBA. Perform recording and Reconciliation in Corporate ledgers.

  • Receive and perform Accrual entries in Time and Form

  • Electronic Accounting. Perform JE in time and form

  • Perform the Fixed Assets and Insurances records for Acquisitions and Depreciations / Amortization

  • Perform Intercompany Transactions, Income / Invoicing  Records and  AR

  • Perform RSD reports
  • Perform BSR ( Balance sheet Reviews / Account Reconciliations)

  • Process and track payment for utility bills for different sites.

  • Maintain safe, clean working environment in compliance with all Eaton safety standards,         Life Saving Rules, and daily 5S+ requirements to help build a Zero Incident Culture.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Professional capabilities in financial accounting and Tax; 1 - 2 years of experience in finance/ accounting and auditing within a Big 4 Firm or multinational company as 2 Years Auditor. University Degree required.

  • Knowledge of Mexican statutory reporting requirements essential;

  • Communication skills and team work capability.

  • Knowledge of data processing in respect of financial systems , preferable Oracle or SAP

  • Acceptable knowledge of the English language.

  • Exposure to US GAAP / MEX GAAP reporting requirements,

  • Ability to operate and deliver independently without day to day supervision

  • Knowledgeable in accounting 

  • Flexibility and ability to travel within Mexico

  • Flexibility to work outside standard hours to accommodate teams working in around the globe.

  • Potential to be promoted within next 3-5 years

  • Ability to join Eaton within 30 days of offer
