As an Automation Applications Engineer, you will effectively establish an environment to support and drive sales of all our automation products.  The responsibility of this position involves utilizing technology to improve, streamline and automate manufacturing process. The specific focus is on industrial automation and commercial applications where small and medium complexed processing applications are required.

 

You will work within the ICPD/PDC Sales Team and will report to the Sales Manager, ICPD/PDC.

 

Your main duties:

  • Identify new opportunities for automation within our target markets

  • Engage in the planning, pricing proposal, programming and final commissioning of automated projects.

  • Create own leads and application sales

  • Support and assist sales team with proposal and planning of leads generated

  • Support system integrator program with product selection, programming and application knowledge

  • Identify and establish a “standard price list” for common product items (in communication with PLM)

  • Promote product sale by proactively engaging in events and training

  • Proactively engage in forecasting sales and project pipeline

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

Required:

  • Appropriate degree or proven track record in this specific field

  • 3 years’ experience in electrical related business

  • network protocol certification will be an advantage
