Job Description

Primary Function:

Reporting to the Satellite Manager, this position is responsible to have a working knowledge of  ALL STANDARD Panelboard AND/OR Control product assemblies (such as panels, 4 plex units, MCC units, trip units, limiters, CMPs and control equipment) and all related materials required to complete assembly label, basic testing, quality checks and prepare for shipping.   Able to work from oral and/or written instructions from Satellite Manager, Supervisor and/or Team Leader.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve availability of standard material, fabrication parts and shortages of material issues using Oracle effectively.

  • Operate equipment and machinery for fabrication  of standard panelboards and/or control products, which includes fabrication of bus bars and brackets.

  • Detect and correct errors in own work.

  • Provide on the job training on standard distribution and/or control products.

  • Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton’s Philosophy and Values, as well as Safety and Environmental Standards.

Qualifications

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 or GED.

  • Ability to work in Canada without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge / experience with basic wiring schematic symbols

  • Knowledge / experience with hand and power tools

 Knowledge/skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in team environment with minimal supervision.
