Product Manager, Medium Voltage Circuit Breakers

Eaton’s Power Components Division, a leader in the Medium Voltage Circuit Breakers industry is currently seeking a Product Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Moon Township, PA. facility.


The Product Manger’s responsibilities will include product introduction and lifecycle management, product training & education, profitability improvement, strategic roadmap, pricing, marketing functions and programs of MVCB within key industry segments.  Product Manager must interact with customers, internal commercial functions as well as our manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure the achievement of our growth and profitability goals.

  • You will achieve strategic / financial objectives for the Medium Voltage Circuit Breaker product line

  • You will implement strategic and profit plans for industry segments and product families

  • You will own / lead product development through entire ProLaunch process and/or product extensions to achieve goals such as OTP and cost

  • You will develop/execute required marketing communications material / activities

  • You will drive direct customer engagement to drive top line growth, gather voice of customer, market intelligence, and competitive feedback

  • You will formulate value selling tools / marketing materials for internal and external use

  • You will develop/implement marketing growth plans and programs

  • You will support / implement regional / global product line strategies, share growth, and programs

  • You will lead customer marketing activities including working closely with the Marcom Dept

  • You will provide and lead marketing/sales input for new product development, product upgrades, and product launches

  • You will provide operational excellence focused on quality, cost-out, on time delivery, forecast accuracy, rationalization, manufacturing integration

  • You will Prepare monthly forecast, reports, and other documents related to marketing / sales activities

  • You will Manage Price Realization (objectives, targets)

  • You will measure and report product forecast, activities, and progress

  • You will develop actions to maintain a grow sales to meet profit plan expectations

  • You will work with applicable functions to ensure that the supply chain and manufacturing systems are aligned to the product strategy and are supporting growth and profitability objectives

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required
• Minimum of five years’ experience in sales, marketing, or engineering.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Understanding of application of MV/LV breakers and or switchgear is a plus.
