Eaton Corporation’s Electrical Systems and Services Group has an opening for a Financial Analyst within the Commercial Distribution Products Assembly Division. This position is based at our Cleveland, TN location.

You will maintain all aspects of payroll for both full time and temporary employees at the plant
You will prepare journal entries as needed for the month end closing.
You will prepare various reports and analysis for Internal, Divisional and Government purposes.
You will provide assistance with reconciliation and timely resolution of intercompany payables and receivables
You will maintain departmental ad-hoc reports.
You will provide assistance in costing activities
You will provide Assistance in the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and keep them aligned with the GAAP, SOX, and Corporate Financial Policies.
You will participate in special projects in support of a Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF) culture
You will adheres to all safety rules and procedures, including 5S requirements in support of a Zero Incident Safety Culture (ZISC

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration from an accredited institution
Minimum one (1) year of accounting experience supporting operations
Candidate must be eligible to work in the US on a continuous basis without company sponsorship
- One year of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in GAAP and Eaton financial policies
- Oracle, MAPICS, Vista and Encore experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
Effective communications skills and ability to engage at various levels of the organization
Ability to work in a high volume environment with keen attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information
Demonstrated proficiency with software packages and systems (Oracle GL, AP and FA, Encore Financial System, AS400/Mapics Costing System, Vista, etc.)
