You will work within our world class team in Doncaster.
This position will be responsible for managing all Eaton Doncaster Supply Chain related functions including materials planning, scheduling and ordering activities associated with the delivery of customer products, direct and indirect material purchasing and inventory control. Manages and directs supply chain personnel in the procurement and inventory control of material to ensure on time delivery to customer orders while maintaining assigned inventory levels.
Your key deliverables :
You will manage a team of both direct and indirect reports in supply chain and will report directly to the Plant Manager. You will be expected to train and educate direct reports in the use of supply chain management techniques, various business systems and varieties of reports and other related tools to ensure the timely and economical completion of customer requirements.
You will implement methods, practices and techniques to ensure the most economical movement of materials through the supply chain.
You will manage the MRP (SAP) module of the ERP system to ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials to meet the production plan and customer orders, ensure data integrity and MRP message adherence.
You will lead the achievement and maintenance of the specified inventory and E&O targets through the use of appropriate inventory optimisation tools.

You will provide training, motivation and support to all of the team in supply chain management techniques.
You will manage the day to day purchasing function at site
You will manage and communicate information regarding short term material availability, capacity and constraint positions for the weekly PSI (Production, Sales and Inventory) call/review meeting.
You will analyse and maintain material classification and master data parameters both raw and finished goods, and where appropriate calculate and implement correct settings to ensure targets are met, including safety stock levels, lead-time etc. achieving item master accuracy.
You will establish and provide communication channels with the appropriate Account Managers to understand stock requirements and expectations of key customer groups in order to achieve customer OTD (On Time Delivery) requirements through the appropriate levels of stock and raw materials.
You will develop and implement optimized planning process, MPS, Capacity Planning and support supplier OTD and lead-time improvement activities to achieve a lean and agile supply chain.
You will drive continuous improvement activities and lean supply methods to improve performance across all functions.
What we are looking for:
Apics/CIPS / Degree level educated
Thorough understanding of supply chain management operational concepts surrounding production planning, scheduling, purchasing, supplier management, inventory control, logistics, shipping and receiving.
Sound experience within a manufacturing/ FMCG planning environment.
Experience of the total business process utilising formal Resource Planning techniques (MRP/ERP) and supply chain management.
Experience of inventory control and measures
Extensive experience of a MTS/MTO manufacturing operation.
Excellent SAP experience and data analytical
Detailed knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Process variation reduction (Six Sigma) concepts and tools sets related to material management is desirable
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Multiple years of related professional and supervisory/managerial experience
Ability to lead cross functional improvement teams
