As PQ Business Development Representative, you will be required to effectively increase PQ service sales aligned with Eaton strategy and growth expectations in Africa.

You will work within the ICPD/PDC Sales Team and will report to the  Sales Manager, ICPD/PDC.

 

Your main duties :

  • Negotiate and finalize maintenance agreements for PQ product across Africa
  • Manage and sell service contracts in Africa ensuring profitable long term service growth in Africa
  • Maintain contracted customer relations.
  • Research, develop and introduce new service offerings to the market.
  • Offer detailed replacement solutions
  • Complete site Audits and subsequently provide comprehensive reports and service solutions
  • Compile and manage RSA & Africa customer (and install base) database
  • Create strategic pricing policies for service in RSA &  Africa and manage price realization.
  • Communication/presentation of results, strategies, actions to leadership
  • Identify and develop strategies for future business growth.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

Required:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in the Electrical industry (knowledge of UPS systems would be an advantage)

  • Dynamic and can adapt to change when circumstances require it. Must be able to handle stressful situations.

  • Experience in contract negotiation & finalisation. Contract qualification experience a necessity

  • Experience in Electrical protection equipment

  • Proven track record of achieving business success project management.

  • Strong ability to interpret common technical catalogues, financial reports, and legal documents such as contracts and partner agreements.

     

    Desired:

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills and ability to communicate across different cultures / geographic regions

  • Ability to operate independently, with no or little supervision.
