Eaton’s Hydraulic division is currently seeking a Supply Chain Clerk – 1st shift to join our team.

  • You will release all work order packets to the manufacturing floor.
  • You will work with the supply chain management (SCM) team as needed to maintain existing and potential suppliers for documentation.
  • You will create, distribute, and update all purchase orders, per buyer requisitions.  This includes working with the SCM team with Engineering Change Request changes to parts/work orders as needed.
  • You will update work orders to re-issue status when Defective Material Reports (DMR) are created.  
  • You will work with Supervisors to process inventory drops / work order re-starts / DMR transactions. In addition, you will be responsible for reviewing cycle count discrepancies with buyer/planners as applicable.
  • You will be responsible for cycle counting Servo, Steering, CAT, Brake, GD and Cylinders components.
  • You will review the work order issue error report and make corrections as needed
  • You will be responsible for correcting and assigning locations for components.
  • You will perform Supplier Add functions and follow-up to completion, PTP (procure-to-payment).
  • You will be responsible for MRO process (non-direct material purchasing), P-Card or purchase order, PTP.
  • This position is a mix of both desk and hands on responsibilities.  This position requires standing, sitting and lifting material through the day.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 1 experience in purchasing, manufacturing or a related field is required.
  • Must live within a 50 mile radius of work location; no relocation benefit provided for this position.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
 
 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated problem solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate in a matrix structured environment. (Communicate across functions)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.  (Helpful to prepare packets and complete DMRs).
  • Competent in operation of MFG-Pro and Microsoft applications.
  • Proven knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and application of systems such as word and excel
  • Ability to manage and store all types of files and records, attention to detail
