Eaton’s Corporate division is currently seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join our team. This position is based at our Querétaro site.
The Accounting Supervisor is responsible to supervise the Accounting Processes for the GFSS, coordination of supporting team. Conduct the monthly closing process. Perform Balance sheet Review, Maintain SOX and Internal Audit compliance as required. Perform and Coordinates monthly balance sheet reviews. Supervise the year-end Mexico compliance, and financial reporting. Manage and champion ad hoc projects as needed. The position drives continuous improvement in accounting while utilizing the framework of the Eaton Business System (EBS).

Supervise the monthly closing process for Mexican Maquila ledgers running under SAP system.
Coordinate the Internal Control Audit and Statutory Audits with the external audit firms.
Treasury, ICA & ZBA. Ensure correct recording and Reconciliation in operating ledgers.
Financial Statements and Reporting. Preparation in Time and Form.
Electronic Accounting. Supervise accuracy of the Information and ensure submission in time and form.
Supervise the Fixed Assets and Insurances records for Acquisitions and Depreciations / Amortization.
Supervise Intercompany Transactions, Supervise Income / Invoicing Records and Control AR and AP accounts.
Review and track team performance,
Maintain safe, clean working environment in compliance with all Eaton safety standards, Life Saving Rules, and daily 5S+ requirements to help build a Zero Incident Culture.

Professional capabilities in financial accounting and Tax; 4 - 6 years of experience in finance/ accounting and auditing within a Big 4 Firm as Senior Auditor or multinational company.
University Degree required.
Knowledge of Mexican statutory reporting requirements essential; sound understanding of Tax regulations
Communication skills and team work capability.
Knowledge of data processing in respect of financial systems and multiple ERP systems, particularly SAP and Oracle.
Exposure to US GAAP / MEX GAAP reporting requirements,
Ability to operate and deliver independently without day to day supervision.
Be highly competent in accounting.
Flexibility and ability to travel within and outside Mexico
Flexibility to work outside standard hours to accommodate teams working in around the globe
Potential to be promoted within next 3-5 years
