Job Description

Eaton’s Hydraulics division is currently seeking a Shipping Clerk to join our team. This position is based at our Querétaro facility.

The Shipping Clerk is responsible to work effectively and efficiently in a dispatch and warehouse environment to receive and schedule shipping and freight operations, including developing a working knowledge of warehouse organization and creating proper and detailed shipping documentation. Works with shipping and warehouse team to ensure customer satisfaction. Perform all activities according to the Eaton Ethics values.

Some activities related with the position will be:
  • Troubleshoots shipping issues and customer issues that pop up regularly; works to solve these administrative or organizational problems to increase warehouse and dispatch efficiency.

  • Creates shipping labels and handles shipping information. 

  • Problem solves for customers about shipping routes, delayed items, and rush orders.

  • Keeps organized shipping records, including statements of origin, products shipped, etc.

  • Works well with shipping team to complete orders on time.

  • Oversee the actvities for the forklift drivers, pallet jacks, material handlers from the shipping area. 

  • Follow up critical/urgent materials.

  • Follow up and immediate escalation with the involved departments when any shipment is in risk.

  • Maintain accuracy of on hand Inventory in racks of finish good.

  • Ensure the workplace safety conditions in the infrastruture of the area such as racks conditions, maximun stack, etc.

  • Ensure the compliance of the safety rules for the forklift drivers as well as the correct usage of the equipment to lift the different materials in the whole plant.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree on Industrial Engineering

  • 1 years of experience working in warehouse area in a Manufacturing Environment

  • Intermediate-Advanced Excel Skills, able to develop spread sheets

  • Communication Skills 

  • Experience in the forklift safety and maintenance.

  • Knowledge MFG Pro preferred

  • Intermediate English Level
