Job Description

Eaton’s Hydraulics division is currently seeking a Heat Treat Technician to join our team. This position is based at our Querétaro facility.

The Heat Treat Technician is responsible to provide day to day support to production cells on Heat Treat improvements including fixturing & tooling. Accountable in Production’s metrics & goal achievement, comply with all applicable Safety, Quality, Health & Environmental and Human Resources policies and procedures.

Some activities related with the position will be:
  • Monitoring of the process according to the identification and recipe.

  • Identification,  and Preparation of load
  • Detect part without identification with risk of damage, not segregated (non-congforming product), with final disposal.

  • Evaluate the condition of the fixture segregated according to visual aids

  • Coordinate the preventive Maintenance to the heat treatment furnaces

  • Maintain production levels according to the levels required

  • Ensure the Correct Execution of Burnoff Carbon in the furnaces.

  • Maintain production levels according to the levels required

  • Ensure that the work area remains clean and orderly taking care of the integrity of the equipment

  • Monitoring, adjust and modify the flow rate gases for process according with the process inspection ( Gas Analysis, Shim stock test, etc.)

  • Trend Chart Revision and analysis of  Product and Process

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • 1 years of experience in manufacturing engineering in the same industry field.

  • Bachelor degree in Metallurgical or Material (desirable)

  • Experience in designing and implementing fixtures.

  • Basic English
