Eaton’s Aerospace division is currently seeking a Quality Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Eastanollee, GA facility.
The Quality Manager gives overall direction to all aspects of quality including Quality Management Systems, product quality, customer quality, and employee engagement; developing, implementing and monitoring progress against short and long-rang plans to achieve quality objectives, meeting customer specifications, and contributing to overall profit.
The Quality Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the site level quality strategy and alignment of this strategy to the Eaton Aerospace Group Quality Strategy, including the use of Quality Leading Indicators and focus on quality best practices. In this role, you will encourage and support employee participation at all levels in the resolution of product quality problems, ensure the provision of employee recognition, as appropriate, and promote positive Company-oriented attitudes towards quality.

You will develop site level quality strategy and ensure alignment to Eaton Aerospace Group level Quality Strategies
You will focus on the use of quality leading indicators and quality best practices
You will implement short and long-range plans relative to quality assurance.
You will provide timely support and leadership for quality related reporting, problem resolution, and critical customer quality concerns.
You will identify needs, select and develop quality talent (Engineering, Systems, Auditing, Inspection, etc) and succession planning.
You will develop or modify quality procedures, metrics and processes to achieve quality and on time delivery goals.
- You will assure effective communication and reporting to customers.
You will assure compliance with all customer, third party and regulatory requirements.
You will provide support and leadership to the Quality function as it relates to on-going production, original equipment, aftermarket, and new product development.
You will support the achievement of Cost of Quality, goals as identified by the Plant Manager.

- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution required.
Minimum five (5) years’ work experience in a Quality function within an Operations or Manufacturing environment
- Minimum two (2) years’ work experience managing people
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations or Engineering from an accredited institution
Experience within the Aerospace or Automotive industry
- Knowledge of PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, Gage R&R
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
Position Success Criteria:
Possesses a thorough understanding of problem solving methods (e.g. Six Sigma, 8-D root cause analysis and associated statistical tools) Quality Systems, and Mil-Stds.
Extensive Thorough knowledge of Divisional policies, objectives and procedures regarding detection and analysis of product nonconformance to specification. Basic understanding of statistical quality control, and Eaton Engineering systems, components and product applications.
Thorough knowledge of cost control techniques as they apply to the total quality concept, budgeting and fixed asset planning for return on investment.
Administrative skills required to guide product quality, employee involvement and productivity programs.
Highly developed human relations, communications and internal consulting skills necessary to establish and maintain effective work relationships with the various plant functions and Division staff, customer and supplier personnel, and to promote and motivate employee involvement in, and acceptance of, new methodologies, etc.
