Eaton’s Lighting Solutions business has an opening for a 15-month Marketing Co-op position located in Mississauga, Ca.
This role is designed to assist the sales and
marketing team by providing administrative support and implementing marketing
communications plans and programs in Canada. This includes graphic and media
development as well as scheduling, literature and sales promotion information
In addition to these responsibilities, the position supports web content management and communications, merchandising coordination and setup, as well as the development of a variety of channel-driven initiatives. The position will require an individual to work closely with our marketing and sales teams to ensure initiatives are executed as planned.
Event planning - helps to coordinate display creation and modification for events as required.
Developing invitations, managing guest lists, coordinating on-site requirements for trade shows including power, hanging banners, setup and tear down.
Marketing collateral - creation and maintenance of marketing material. Managing and communicating when translations are required.
Price list management - includes management of design and format planning for all product line price sheets, (i.e., agent cost guide, contractor price schedule, and distributor price schedule).
Literature fulfillment - responding to requests from clients, vendors and sales personnel.
Online content - launching and managing content for internal website.
Eaton tradeshow synergy - developing events in conjunction with other Eaton divisions.
Promotions - creates promotional presentations and coordinates training of outside sales personnel.
Merchandising displays - coordination of all merchandising activities, asset tracking, as well as new installations from identification to installation and maintenance.
Brand standards - maintaining knowledge of up to date brand standards and management of logo usage to ensure application are in accordance with Eaton standards.
Currently enrolled full-time pursuing a college diploma or university degree in Marketing, Business or Engineering related field.
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
Must live within an 80 km radius of Mississauga facility, no relocation benefits provided.
- Strong project management skills.
Proven ability to drive execution and meet deadlines.
High attention to detail and extremely organized and team oriented.
Able to manage a high number of projects simultaneously.
Self-starter, proactive, with excellent written and oral communication skills, in addition to strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Strong computer skills with Adobe Creative Suite, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the Internet.
