Job Description

Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services and Systems division is currently seeking a Production Assistant to join our team.  This position is based out of our Delta, British Colombia facility. 

 

The primary purpose of this position is to produce basic panelboards, switchboards and control assemblies as required and to assist supervision in all departments within the operation.

  • You will complete the assembly, label, conduct basic testing and quality checks in preparation of shipping.
  • You will be responsible to detect and correct errors in own work.
  • You will perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton’s Values and Philosophy, as well as Safety and Environmental standards.
  • You will be expected to understand the order, drawing, material and inventory processes.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • Grade 12/GED or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
  • Must reside within 80km of Delta to be considered for this position.
 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge / experience with manufacturing and basic wiring schematic symbols.
  • Knowledge / experience with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to work in team environment with minimal supervision.
