Eaton’s Electrical sector is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager: Gulf Region to join our team. 

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for:


Attainment of Division and Corporate goals for sales growth and profitability through market development, effective direction and management of the activities of our sales agencies and personnel, while providing superior service to our customers.  This is achieved through developing and recommending annual sales plans and forecast for individual manufacturers’ representatives, markets, factory territories for the region.  Continually analyzing sales levels and trends through market research is essential to be successful.  Individual must initiate pro-active or corrective actions as required to assure attainment of objectives while assuring that appropriate technical guidance and assistance regarding product applications is available to customer.  Experience working with agents and channel partners is a plus.


This role requires continued education to keep up with changing technology in both lighting and control.  Position will be responsible for covering Eaton’s Gulf Region-Northern Area which includes North, West and East Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and New Mexico; prefer that individual resides in or near the Dallas, Tulsa or Oklahoma City metro-areas.


Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution

  • Must be authorized to work legally in the United States without current or future company sponsorship

  • A minimum of 8 years of sales management experience in an electrical products industry dealing with commercial and industrial customers.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Business, Marketing or Engineering

  • A minimum of 10 years of sales management experience

  • Experience in the lighting or lighting controls industry

  • Experience dealing with manufacturer’s representatives
