This role acts as the primary HR interface between several key stakeholders in the Sales, Services and Marketing organization in EMEA, the NORTH region sales leadership team, the CENTRAL SALES & MARKETING teams, the HR Director for EMEA Sales & Marketing, the HR functions within the NORTH region and corporate COEs. They represent HR, the EMEA leadership team and EATON in the region to employees and local leadership. They act as stewards of the EATON values. They participate in the design and execution of HR strategy appropriate to support the region’s business strategy according to EATON expectations of HR leaders.
Your main duties :
Develop and implement HR practices in line with Eaton Philosophy& Values which encourage employee engagement.
Fully utilize annual Employee Survey process to analyze results and establish goals and action plans. Use insights from employee survey, country HRM and leadership team to develop or enhance new programs to increase engagement and effectiveness of employees.
Develop, maintain, and administer competitive wage and benefit programs that reinforce the principles of a performance based culture.
Ensure effective development and administration of variable pay incentive programs.
Get results and drive progressive HR programs while maintaining local compliance with governmental regulations and labor laws from a regional and country by country perspective. Works with EMEA Labor Relations team as needed.
Focus on building the leadership capabilities for the North and Central Sales & Marketing teams within the region. Ensure peers and leaders are accountable for results and fully utilize the performance management tools to develop direct reports. Challenge the leadership team and HR team to collaborate and identify leadership issues within the organization with the goal of addressing all performance issues.
Direct staffing activities for the NORTH and central Sales & Marketing teams utilizing cost-effective recruitment techniques and leveraging corporate resources.
Coordinate the operation’s training and development processes (assessment, analysis and planning) ensuring linkage with OCA and strategic objectives.
Advise managers and supervisors on employee relations matters. Focus on continuous upgrading of the front-line leadership team and HR team.
Drive continuous functional process improvement utilizing EBS tools and support division and location objectives for operational excellence.
Champion OCA (Organizational Capability Assessment) and Top and Bottom performer review process (head and tail) process for stakeholder teams and drive ongoing attention to OCA goals and metrics.
Champion and drive the I&D initiatives including training the workforce on the principles of inclusion and diversity in the workplace, following up and monitoring the quality of the recruitment and promotion practices within the region.
Participate in all M&A activity as needed.
Drive local efforts to build bench strength and early talent. Practice positive employee engagement practices.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of the WEST leadership team and the Director of HR in EMEA.
Drive alignment & rollout on Sales Incentive Process and Variable Pay plans in conjunction with the leadership team and Finance.
- Minimum educational requirements include Bachelor Degree or equivalent credentials
- At least 7 years functional leadership experience in the human resources field.
- Specialized knowledge in the following areas; safety, compensation and labor laws, salary administration, performance planning, job evaluation systems, effective change management methods, facilitation skills, use of digital tools for communication, etc.
- Also desire strong employee and leadership development experience, collaborative team-building, and project management skills.
- Should have some knowledge (or know how to get this knowledge) of varying labor laws in the region served.
