Lead Accounting Analyst
Eaton’s Global Financial Accounting Team is currently seeking an Accounting Lead Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Beachwood, Ohio facility.
The Lead Analyst is responsible for performing professional accounting work involving reporting and analysis of global financial results to provide senior management with timely and accurate financial information that aids in decision-making. In this role, you will analyze, and correct financial data as submitted by all operations worldwide using various accounting systems.

• You will act as the controller of smaller US corporate sites responsible for ensuring balances are accurately stated and quarterly account reconciliations are prepared and reviewed
• You will review and analyze P&L allocations to determine necessary adjustments during close and oversee the follow up after close
• You will participate or lead special projects/process improvements to help drive efficiencies in the finance organization
• You will assist with audit requests from internal and external auditors
• You will respond to various ad hoc reporting requests

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution
Minimum three (3) years of professional accounting and/or finance experience
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Corporate Sponsorship now or in the future
No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Beachwood, Ohio to be considered.
Working knowledge of US GAAP
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent analytical thinking skills, with close attention to detail and a drive for results
Oracle, SAP, and/or HFM experience
