Job Description

Eaton’s Aerospace division is currently seeking a Stamping Operator to join our team. This position is based at our Camarillo, CA facility.

  • You will adjust, clean, and set dies

  • You will request repairs and spare parts from Tool Room

  • You will replace broken or worn parts in the dies as needed

  • You will maintain material inventory control in department

  • You will move finished parts to stock

  • You will visually inspect dies for correct assembly

  • You will check part dimensions using precision measuring tools to determine if die will produce parts to drawing tolerances

  • You will maintain die component inventory

  • You will record die repairs and maintenance in repair log

Required (Basic) Qualifications          
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution

  • No relocation provided. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Camarillo, CA to be considered.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in arms regulations. All applicants must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. Person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee.

  • Minimum two (2) years machine shop experience
Position Criteria
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints

  • Good mechanical and mathematical aptitude

  • Must have basic computer skills

  • Must be able to use precision measuring tools and hand tools

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

  • Read, write, and communicate in English
