IT Channel Inside Sales Representative -- Irvine, CA
As Eaton continues to grow presence in the US IT Distribution Channel (Mid-Market), we are currently seeking a talented IT Channel Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This position is based at our Irvine, CA facility.
The IT Channel Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving US Power Quality Solution sales by enabling channel resellers, value add resellers, direct marketing resellers (DMR), integrated solution providers and managed service providers by collaborating with our marketing teams, programs, regionalized field sales, inside engineering, Power Quality product management and specified distributors. In this role, you will drive and carry performance metrics by region and work individually as a team to attain collective growth.

You will develop, execute, and attain sales plans within the assigned regional IT channel mid-market.
You will recruit and enable new partners within the various channel segments to join the partner program. Arrange local and regional sales manager visits.
You will drive Eaton solution specification with the end customer, channel reseller and distribution by engaging all available resources and programs to assemble a market competitive solution
You will engage and leverage Eaton Alliance Partnerships with industry leading affiliates (i.e. Cisco, NetApp, EMC, Nutanix) to increase partner engagement, promote solution selling, and drive specification at the end customer level
You will collaborate with regional field sales, channel marketing, and top revenue generating accounts to develop a “go to market” business plans containing sales targets, marketing activities, customer engagement and support model
You will collaborate with field sales covering the same region, distribution account managers, direct marketing reseller (DMR) account managers, and EatonCare inside sales to drive business and grow Eaton channel resource

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational instituition
1 year professional sales or support experience
At this time, relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates within a 50 mile radius of Irvine, CA will be considered.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, engineering
2+ years prior professional sales experience
Business to Business (B2B) sales experience
Channel Sales or Channel Distribution experience
Prior knowledge of IT and data center infrastructure
Ability to work independently and as a team
Demonstrates a strong drive for results; ability to meet/exceed sales targets
Proven ability to effectively interface with internal and external customers in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills in addition to strong organizational skills
Ability to effectively prioritize, balance and multi-task workload
US Travel 15-25% a year
