MATERIAL PLANNER

The candidate will be responsible to Plan, monitor and report steel inventory (4 Emea ledgers) to ensure material availability and accurate forecasting suppliers. The role involves the development and management of Supplier Capacity planning for critical suppliers. The deployment in the Region Supplier Vis and the production of punctual analysis to monitor the trend and address actions and monthly standard reports.

 

Your key deliverables:

 

  • Plan raw materials inventory levels and guarantee high forecast accuracy to supplier to meet profit, inventory targets and goals;

  • Schedules and PO releases for Torino HQ ledger to direct suppliers of raw material valves;

  • Expedite material, negotiate with supplier where needed, to improve shortfall between current plan and new requirements to meet or exceed customer expectations;

  • Execute New  Project to implement and deploy Supplier Capacity Planning in the region accordingly with priorities and regional requirements with the development of the appropriate IT tool;

  • Deploy, accordingly with Plant priorities, Supplier Vis across the Region

  • Develop with IT new Business Intelligence reports and functionalities;

  • Maintains ERP set up data to ensure lean and robust scheduling process and EPM updated;


Qualifications

Required:

 

  • 3 years in Supply Chain Area (Production Planning, Material Planning,  Warehouse, Customer Service) or consultancy experience in Manufacturing & SCM area;

  • Knowledge of ERP system;

  • Project management;

  • Capacity Planning;

  • Knowledge of Materials Management;

  • Lean exposure;

  • Product knowledge;

  • Experienced in MS Office (especially Excel, Access, PowerPoint);
