Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Eaton’s eMobility - Wireless division is currently seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team. This position is based at our Port Coquitlam, CA facility.
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of Shipping, Receiving and Finished Goods Inventory Control to be consistent with operations plans and objectives.

You will verify system information before creation of packing slip in order to ship product correctly. Coordinate with Customer Service Department as required to update or modify shipment data
You will package and label all domestic and international shipments
You will identify parts and verify against attached documents to ensure correctness of shipments
You will properly label materials for inventory purposes and place in proper location
You will be responsible for shipping to customers both domestic and international following Customer, Statutory and Regulatory requirements
You will create and prepare shipping documents (domestic/international) BOL, SLI, Commercial Invoice and packing slips
You will work with EMS providers to make proper NAFTA declarations on the products
You will receive incoming shipments and RMAs, verify packing lists, quantities and accompanying documentation
You will liaise with all courier, freight, and brokerage service providers on the shipping and receiving needs of the business
You will expedite, reroute shipments, and resolve shipment discrepancies
You will resolve customer concerns regarding incorrect shipments and/or missing documentation
You will maintain inventory accuracy with regular cycle counts and report variances and discrepancies

You will perform other related duties as requested or required
You will be responsible for maintaining and creating written work instructions and procedures for all aspects of the shipping and receiving function

Minimum of one year warehouse experience required
Minimum of two years of industry experience required

Basic computer literacy required including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and WordPosition Criteria:
Working knowledge of the mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures of a
Ability to work overtime and off-shifts when needed, including weekends
Self-directed with strong verbal and written communication skills
Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship

- Fluent spoken and written English
Effective communication and organization skills
High levels of accuracy in inventory record keeping
Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines within tight scheduling requirements
- Excellent problem analysis/solving skillsPreferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of UPS World Ship preferred
Working knowledge of Purolator shipping software
Experience with Customs Declaration Forms and HTS codes
Previous experience in inventory controls and MRP systems, e.g. SAP, Syteline, Oracle
