Production Supervisor 2nd Shift
You will conduct safety training, accident prevention, and product training and communication meetings with hourly personnel. Responsible for the departmental implementation of Company safety and health procedures, ensuring required reports including accident investigations are complete and that all department employees are properly trained in accordance with Company policy and standards.
You will ensure hourly personnel have received and maintain proper training to operate equipment/machinery and tools. Ensures hourly personnel are performing work per company safety and environmental guidelines and tools and equipment are in proper working condition. Enforces department and company policies, rules and procedures.
You will ensure hourly workforce meets production, quality, customer service, and attendance standards. Creates written reports and documentation or uses PC's/CRT to retrieve and input various data including but not limited to, mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics, production information and schedules, attendance, payroll, inventory transactions, scrap reporting etc.
You will assist in determining staffing levels to meet production schedules within area of responsibility. Meets established department/company goals, safety, quality productivity, and cost/scrap reduction.
You will maintain records pertaining to their area of responsibility. Mediates employees' differences and resolves employees' grievances at the appropriate level. Coordinates all activities with lead supervisor and department manager.
You will participate in the pursuit and achievement of all KPI goals/targets for the facility. Maintains a positive attitude and supports Eaton culture. Perform other related duties as assigned, including but not limited to Area Rotations, and attending Training Courses.
Associate's degree from an accredited institution required.
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a fabrication environment.
Experience supervising in a union environment.
Experience working with SAP.
