This exciting role is for Connected Services and Solutions (CCS) has an opening for a Project Manager cum Scrum Master who is passionate about his or her craft. The Project Manager will lead project management and scrum activities for Internet of Things applications. Although Eaton is an established company with a diverse product portfolio, this IoT applications project exhibits many of the characteristics of a start-up initiative. These revenue generating IoT applications/solutions, will be developed by product teams , and use Eaton IOT platforms(including CCIS) as a framework to expedite development process. So, if you’re an experienced software professional yearning to work on a project leveraging the latest software technologies and trends such as IoT, NoSQL, big data, open source, DevOps, microservices, mobile, and cybersecurity, this is the position for you! Your essential responsibilities


  • Lead projects in Agile methodologies in the capacity of Project Manager/ Scrum Master for allocated projects for cloud solutions/applications. 

  • Manage Sprints - keeping order, process, delivery, priorities accurate and on time 

  • Conduct Scrum Ceremonies: Daily Stand Ups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Demos/Reviews, Retrospectives, and release planning. 

  • Keep scrum team focused on concrete priorities while keeping outside influences from disrupting the Scrum team and actively identify and remove waste and distractions 

  • Work with Product Owners and QA team to ensure that testing and feedback is completed in a timely manner and meeting the Sprint timelines. 

  • Work with cross-functional teams to create a holistic roadmap and planning for product delivery. 

  • Manage a diverse IT team consisting of application architects, application engineers, UX designers, and outsourced vendors. 

  • Work with business teams to shape business requirements and provide ongoing communication through project execution. 

  • Develop project/program plans to realize the requirements, while leading, managing, tracking, and communicating the execution of the plans and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. 

  • Generates reports from the project management tool and ensures compliance to PMO processes for allocated projects. 

  • Ensures development stories, acceptance criteria, assumptions, and all related documentation are timely and complete, supporting development, testing, and user acceptance activities. 

  • Communicate and facilitate effectively across diverse audiences within and outside of the Sprint Team (key stakeholders, executives) 

  • Advocate for autonomous, self-organizing, empowered, and continuously improving teams


If you are:

  • Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering

  • 11-14 years of progressive experience in developing and designing technology solutions

  • Degree(BE/BTech) and 11-14 years of experience in SW product industry.

  • At least years 8+ years of hands on experience in building SW products and 3+ years of experience in leading product teams as Project Lead/Project Manager leading/Scrum Master

  • Certified Scrum Master certification is mandatory. 

  • Experience and knowledge of building SW applications/Product/Platform using open source or Microsoft technologies on Azure or similar platforms.

  • Experience managing teams versed in cloud computing, and services oriented architecture is required. 

  • Experience in managing offshore and onsite cross functional teams

  • Experience in managing Cloud and Enterprise projects/applications in IOT space

  • Strong business acumen and superior decision-making skills 

  • Superior oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to manage expectations of the business, stakeholders, team members and management

  • Strong cross-functional team player with the ability to work seamlessly across a matrix organization

  • Creativity, enthusiasm and energy with a strong customer centricity, result oriented and "can do" attitude. 

  • Hands on, self-motivated professional style with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple initiatives  

  • Ability to understand technical requirements of projects and effectively manage resources, vendors and test efforts  

  • Experience with latest Devops practices and leading productivity initiatives. 

  • Experience managing multiple scrum teams in parallel

  • Experience in Automation and control system industry or similar

  • Knowledge of cloud development platforms such as AWS, or BlueMix

  • Knowledge of security concepts such as encryption, certificates, and key management

  • Experience with Mobile applications on Andriod and iOS platforms

  • Experience with DFSS and CMMI practices.

  • Experience with C/C++ applications
