We are looking forward to a Supervisor - RPA in Eaton’s EITC business, based in Pune, India.

Eaton is taking initial strides in implementing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) for its functions and shared service centers across the globe. IT function will be taking a lead in building capability to aid RPA deployment.


 This is a global role and requires managing Development, Quality & Support for RPA Implementations/Upgrades/Enhancements across varied internal customers.


 This exciting role would require managing and interacting with global teams and customers through daily activities, weekly meetings, and / regular progress reviews. This resource will leverage standard IT work processes and program/portfolio methodologies to manage and measure work, driving continuous overall system and resource improvement. He/she will also be working with peers to establish group level planning, goal identification, performance calibration, scorecard enhancements, setting standards & guidelines and continuous improvement objectives.


 This role would have leader of people (LOP) as well as direct employees and contract resources reporting into it


 Your essential responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate leadership in technical design with ability to identify multiple alternatives to develop and then suggest the best approach considering the situation/need. Coach & mentor team on creating technical representations of the requirements.

  • Work closely with Architects to define design, development and peer review standards. Take ownership of implementing them leading to high quality service level management. Promote modularization (Metabots) and reuse of code.

  • Ensure high quality delivery through thorough testing (Unit & Integration & UAT). Promote use of HP ALM through the project lifecycle and beyond by establishing regression suite.

  • Responsible for setting up & running support organization to keep the virtual workforce available for business use.

  • Develop customer relationships and focus on customer satisfaction via efficient service management, meeting SLAs at all levels, managing escalations and effectively communicating on going status.

  • Define and communicate roles and responsibilities for team members. Build organizational capability within the team by training/mentoring employees as well as hiring top talent when necessary and effectively managing low performers.

  • Work with vendor partners to get the right resources to staff peak demands and be responsible for the SOW & Invoicing for the same.

  • Responsible for financial planning for the team – in terms of forecasting, actual time recording and billing to functions/sectors. Manage project delivery to budget.

  • Explore new capabilities of the tool to meet business needs through Proof of concepts, connecting with Automation Anywhere Support team, exploring on Internet – should be inquisitive to solve business problems.

  • Will be responsible for multiple Projects in parallel across geographies & functions primarily leveraging agile/sprint methodology.


Qualifications

If you are:

  • Bachelor in Engineering/B.E/B. Tech and/or required equivalent. Master’s degree is preferred but not mandatory

  • Overall 12+ years in Development, QA & Support with atleast 5+ years of development experience. Experience of RPA will be an added advantage

  • 5+ years in leading group of size 8+ people with strong experience in building teams, coaching, driving change and managing conflicts.

  • Good understanding of large scale ERP or CRM systems will be an added advantage.

  • Knowledge of Project Management discipline (waterfall and agile models) and System Development Lifecycle methodologies (SDLC).

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal at all levels of the Organization. This position will often work with senior leaders within Business and IT.

  • Experience in managing multiple simultaneous projects of varied sizes.

  • Must have experience working on projects on an International level.
