Job Description

Primary Function:

Sets up and runs production of parts on all machines per work order instructions.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Sets up and runs production of parts on all machines per work order instructions

  • Trains on controls and functions of molding machines, auxiliary equipment and related tooling

  • Trains on setup of tooling into mold bases and setup of mold bases into machines

  • Able to make minor adjustments on machine operating process.

  • Able to work in more than one area or on more than one machine

  • Adheres to company and department procedures

  • Correctly fills out documentation as required

  • Able to deflash and sandblast parts and materials

  • Performs basic pre quality inspection checks

  • Ability to recognize defects in parts, realize the cause of the defect, know what adjustments need to be made to fix the issue

  • Selects the appropriate mold and arbor combination to get the desired part

  • Prioritizes work based on urgency and date due

  • Works well with others to achieve a high performance result

  • Promotes good housekeeping within immediate and surrounding areas

Qualifications

Basic/Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years similar molding operator experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity

  • Good vision and ability to see colors

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

  • Must be capable with basic math skills

  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in arms regulations. All applicants must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of ITAR.   • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship.
