Associate Analyst Cost
This position supports the updating and maintenance of standard cost for new and current products in both (MAPICS and GLOBAL VISTA) systems, elaborate all the necessary entries during the month and month end for closing purposes, process and prepare inventory reconciliations.
Product Order Costing.
Production labor monitoring.
Maintain and monitor standard cost changes in Mapics & Global Vista.
Support in preparing annual standard costs review.
Audit BOM’s and routings.
Assist in journal processing and account reconciliation to the Oracle Finance system, with accurate and fully supported detail enabling Balance Sheet reviews.
Support on physical inventories, cycle counts.
Provide accounts in the case of inventory movements for manual transactions.
Reconcile inventory accounts by source/accounts, including in transit inventories.
Prepare margin analysis by product line and by order in the case of special projects..
Meet any other activity assigned by your supervisor or special requirements of the company.
Active participation in continues improvements programs and committees.
Comply the Eaton Business System (EBS), in foundations, Planning, Growth, Functional Excellence, Assessment and Learning, mainly in the Eaton Business Excellence (EBE); ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 and its tools (such as: Eaton Quality System (EQS), Eaton Lean System and Six Sigma-ELS, HR Operating Review and Employee Survey.
Know and comply the Policies: Global Ethics, Values and Philosophy, Management Environmental Safety and Security and Health (MESH).
MESH compliance and follow up of policies and goals
Support MESH to accomplish goals and objectives related to environment and safety
Report any act or condition not safe.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Administration or related field from an accredited institution required.
Minimum of 1 years prior Accounting, Financial Cost administration positions experience in electrical industry; or related product and manufacturing environment.
No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographical area will be considered for this position.

Intermediate knowledge Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
The successful candidate must possess a vast knowledge of MEX/US GAAP and Mexico Fiscal Law basic requirements.
Must have basic verbal and written communication skills in English (50%).
Basic knowledge MAPICS, AS400, Oracle.
