Global Technical Support Advisor

Job Description

Job Summary:

To deliver technical assistance, training, and support to resolve product queries in the Fire product line range.


Job Responsibilities:

• Support stakeholders on all technical issues relating to the fire portfolio
• Report creation/generations - capture all relevant information on issues reported in the field, ensuring that the information gathered is reported into the quality system for review and resolution
• Monitor trends within the product lines, identifying consistent failures reported from multiple sources/regions
• Investigate and source key information from different systems/departments to ensure stakeholder expectations are met and resolved in a timely manner
• Record regional patterns to identify training requirements to better support the portfolio locally
• Deliver comprehensive training to internal and external customers to ensure stakeholders can operate and maintain products to a high standard



Education level required: Level 3 NVQ or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics subject or similar


Experience: Good working experience with a proven track record demonstration within servicing and commissioning of fire alarm systems


Technical Knowledge: The candidate will require extensive knowledge of Fire life safety systems within the regional area. They will also need to be able to demonstrate a competent level of understanding of BS5839-pt1, BS5839-8, BS5839-9 and EN-54 as a minimum
