Technical Support Specialist
Eaton’s Electrical Division is currently seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our team. This position is based at our Peachtree City, GA facility.
The Technical Support Specialist is responsible for providing support to internal and external stakeholders by researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and working cross functionally with marketing and engineering to develop solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for strong business acumen, technologically savvy, and have a thorough understanding of the company’s strategic priorities to anticipate future needs for technical support organization.

You will provide general support internally and externally to ensure world class service
You will maintain KPI metrics for IVR, nanorep, and email communications
You will document processes and procedures to create standard work
You will communicate with sales teams, distributors, and end users
You will interpret end users’ needs and define appropriate solution
You will perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required
Minimum 2 years of customer support experience
Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates within a 50 miles radius of Peachtree City, GA will be considered
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Experience with Lighting and Control systems
Experience in a technical support role
Proficient knowledge of Windows Operation Systems and Microsoft Office
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with customer via the phone, e-mail, and other written and communication mediums
Strong work ethic, flexibility, and desire to actively contribute to the group’s success
Ability to work on multiple tasks, remain focused, and reach a resolution
