Marketing Manager, Energy Programs
Eaton’s Lighting Division is currently seeking a Marketing Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Peachtree City, GA facility.
The Marketing Manager is responsible for responsible to develop and lead energy related strategic marketing plans to position and promote Eaton’s energy solutions across the USA and Canada through all channel partners. In this role, you will align and promote controlled lighting solutions through energy related incentives assisting customers in securing funds.

You will design, develop, and execute the residential and commercial/industrial energy strategy for the selected region to achieve key sales and share growth objectives promoting Eaton’s energy products across residential channels within the USA and Canada.
You will lead relationship development for product solutions with utilities and utility implementers maintaining utility program updates in the select region within the residential channel.
You will be project leader for energy programs within the region including residentially focused utility programs, ENERGY STAR® Home Builders, Home Performance Contractors, HERS Raters, promotional roll-out processes, collateral development, and training materials.
You will understand changes in legislation (National &/or regional), ENERGY STAR®, energy codes and specifications deciphering them into energy related business opportunities
You will support marketing, engineering, and product management personnel on Eaton’s ProLaunch process to accurately explore energy opportunities for new product introductions in support of single family, multi-family, low income, and midstream incentive programs.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship
A minimum 5 years of experience in sales/marketing/product management or related position in an electrical products or home builder industry
A minimum of 2 years marking experience with utility programs/incentives related to residential programs
No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the following Eaton locations: Peactree City, GA
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in marketing/business/engineering field of study
A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, product managements, or related position in the lighting, controls, appliance, and electrical or home builder industry.
Demonstrate knowledge of the residential lighting channels including home builder industry
Demonstrate assertiveness, attention to detail, organized, follow-up and execution
Demonstrate analytical skills such as cash flow, inflation, simple paybacks, basic statistics, etc.
Demonstrate the ability to evaluate energy codes and define performance requirements at the product level and how to implement within a residential building
Solid presentation skills; ability to effectively communicate to customers and program administrators, comfortable speaking to large audiences; professional presences during presentations; demonstrate ability to develop presentations to a target audience
Demonstrate the ability to develop relationships with the utility companies/program administrators
