Job Description

Responsibilities include: manufacturing components to aerospace quality standards on the Studer CNC grinding machine. Operators need to be able to interpret engineering drawings and be familiar with Fanuc control system, and be able to make minor program edits and offset adjustments.

Knowledge of lean tools would be an advantage.

This shift will either be weekends or lates, subject to company requirements.

Weekend Shift:
Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 12 noon until 12.30am the next day
(Shift premium of 38.3%)

Late Shift:
Monday to Thursday 2pm - 11.45pm
(Shift premium of 20%)


Key experience:

  • 2 years working within a CNC role
  • Aerospace experience is desired but not essential
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Use of checking equipment is essential

Qualifications required:

  • Apprenticeship served or equivalent standard of training and/or experience
  • Good mechanical background in similar field.
