You will work within our world class team in Doncaster.
This position will be responsible for managing a direct staff of 5, with an indirect staff of 22.
Your key deliverables :
As a member of the Plant Leadership team, you will provide leadership for the plant Quality Assurance programs, amongst other leadership responsibilities.
You will organize, plan, implement, and control a quality assurance program at the plant level and in the field which will reduce overall cost of quality and improve customer satisfaction.by identification and elimination of causes of scrap and rework, re-inspection, defect escape and production delays.
You will be accountable for the leadership of a team of Quality Engineers, Technicians, a Service function and Operational Excellence.
You will be responsible for leading and further developing the Quality, Service and OpEx function whilst at the same time delivering significant improvements in operational performance through the use of lead/six sigma tools and techniques.
The role importantly also incorporates significant customer facing commercial elements.
What we are looking for:
Degree or equivalent
Must be able to demonstrate progressive experience in a world-class manufacturing environment, including in a leadership role
Demonstrated knowledge of Quality leadership, lean manufacturing, production engineering, operational and continuous improvement, senior operational management
Strong people leadership skills
Minimum Six Sigma Greenbelt
Confident public speaker
Strong commercial acumen and customer focus
