Supplier Quality Analyst
Eaton’s Truck division is currently seeking a Supplier Quality Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our San Luis Potosí facility.
The Supplier Quality Analyst is responsible to review, response and implemented improvements after a quality issue on components was reported to external supplier. Ask for evidence of preventive / Corrective actions implemented by suppliers.

Problem solving based in 8D
Production line support
Communicate quality issues to suppliers and sister plants
Review supplier response to DMR in Wisper system
Ask for disposition of non-conforming material to supplier after concluded sorting
Prepare reports on parts- supplier performance
Scrap and Non-conforming material control and apply charge back to supplier due to scrap on quality issues.
Responsible for focus supplier process.
Update on time the quality metrics
Implements, promotes and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control and administer risk and danger in own area.
Promotes the company’s vision by actively supporting Eaton’s ethics and values as well as quality policies.
Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results.

- 1 year experience in similar area.
Yellow Belt Certification.
PC use and office software knowledge
ISO TS criteria, EQS criteria
Problem solving methodology (8Ds)
MSA, PPAP, Control Plan, AMEF and SPC
All areas of inspection such as techniques, principles, procedures and know how.
Analytical / Statistical Tools & Methods. Knows the basic concepts of problem solving and analytical / statistical techniques, including 8D; Six Sigma; problem definition; basic data collection.
Inspection & Testing. Consistent knowledge and use of tools and techniques for measuring systems and devices utilized across a broad range of applications.
Has the ability to perform basic analysis and reporting of inspection and test records.
Has a basic knowledge and understanding of National and International Standards (e.g. ISO / AS / TS) and where applicable other Industry related standards including specific customer requirements.
