Job Description

Eaton’s Commercial Distribution Products & Assemblies (CDPA) division is currently seeking a Senior Buyer to join our team. This position is based at our Juarez, Mexico facility.
The Senior Buyer is responsible for ensuring material requirements are met for designated value stream. In this role, you will contribute to the profit of the division by leading others and using the methods, procedures, and more effective systems in the department of purchasing and inventory control.

  • Lead the purchasing strategy for a large value stream through engagement of the team and other functions to achieve cost out, SCM metrics, and VSM metrics
  • Develop and implement inventory reduction strategies (aligned with inventory entitlement
  • Develop and implement cost out projects and initiatives as needed
  • Maintain inventory levels of materials in accordance with the objectives set monthly to assure production

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

·         Bachelor Degree  (L.A.E., Ing. Industrial, Lic. En Economía).

·         80% minimum command of English (written and spoken)

·         4 years of experience in a related position

·         Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a large multinational, manufacturing organization

·         90% minimum of domain on computational programs (Excel, Word, etc.) (proficient at excel)



Preferred Qualifications:

·         ERP system knowledge

·         5-7 years of relevant work experience in a large multinational organization

·         1-2 years’ experience managing direct reports

·         Master’s Degree in related field
