Program Transition Manager
The Program Manager will be responsible for leading an Integrated Project Team to successfully execute projects according to the Eaton STP ProLaunch Process through effective guidance of the integrated product development, efficient resource allocation and reliable reporting to leadership.

Facilitate effective communications between Program & Project Transition teams in the Execution, Monitoring, and Controlling of STP Transition programs/projects.
Maintain the Master Plan of assigned Projects and Schedules while following the established best in class processes in alignment with the Operations Transitions procedures & training guides.
Report out on timing and program P&L analysis to enable leadership to readily access the health of the projects and take corrective action as required.
Integrate the budget related to program transitions for profit planning making sure the programs are within the budget once they are launched
Forecast resource requirements for profit plan and resolve resource conflicts.
Provide critical path analysis, schedule change impact statements and schedule recovery planning. Support the Program and Project Managers with data for customer program reviews.
Assist the project team members in the development of their specific task scheduling capabilities through mentoring and/or practice skill development.
Forecast, provide and maintain the program milestone attainment metrics with Integrated Program Schedule on a regular basis.
Ensure proper usage and due diligence taken in APQP/PPAP Project planning and Implementation.
Support “receiving” sites during “Build to Print” project bids where bid requires technical and costing support from “sending” sites.
Represent Transition Projects at “sending” sites, ensuring coordination and leading timely execution of the sending site supporting responsibilities and activities.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50 mile radius of the work location will be considered
This position requires us of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
Program or Project Management experience
Experience in the aerospace industry, leading complex multi-functional project teams
Experience and knowledge of corporate and project finance. Solid knowledge on financial reporting tools and business case developments
- Strong analytical skills
Possess excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to interface and influence multiple organizational levels within Eaton and the Customers
Possess excellent technical and organizational problem solving skills
As a group leader, possess managerial courage, cultural awareness and be able to motivate, mentor and delegate tasks and responsibilities to his/her working team.
Strong background a ProLaunch system or equivalent Program Launch plan and Gate Reviews
