We are looking forward to a Sales Manager in Eaton’s electrical business, based in Jakarta,Indonesia.

This exciting role is part of a fast paced, and sales orientated team in a large multi-national company.

The role which offers a broad variety of responsibilities including international liaising and great learning opportunities


  1. Manage and support the Channels for all technical and commercial matters (tendering and shipment).

  2. Set, Measure and Monitor the performance of channels,

  3. Assist Manager to develop Channels networks to expand the coverage, but without creating any conflict when possible.

  4. Liaise with Products Line Managers to obtain the best support providing to the region and channels

  5. Develop sales growth strategies for the new products and new solutions

  6. Feedback the market place information, such as market trend, customers’ needs and competition activities etc)

  7. Establish the sales budget and profit planning of the assigned country.

  8. Provide the monthly sales and order forecast monthly and rolling.

  9. Work with Customer Support Representative to ensure prompt FAT, shipment and services.

  10. Provide monthly report

  11. Provide technical support not limited to technical presentation, customize solutions to meet customers’ need and respond to field products questions

  12. Provide budgets for promotion expenses and organize / conduct product presentation and trade show

  13. Liaise with Credit Department for Payment terms and Credit lines of distributors

  14. Organize bi-yearly training to sales agents and distributor for Foreign Corruption Practice Acts and Business Ethnic

  15. Liaise with Inside Sales Rep, Customer Service Rep and Application Engineer to finalize quotations and solutions for customers.

  16. Attend meetings with customers to obtain feedback and complaints regarding products. 

  17. Occasionally site visits are required

  18. Assist Manager in regional works when applicable

Qualifications

Responsibility: 


If you are: 


1. Ability to respond to a variety of challenging circumstances

2. Significant Electrical Product Technical Knowledge, particular in HV and MV Power transmission and distribution application

3. Strong Interpersonal Skills

4. Bachelor’s degree, major in engineering, preferably in electrical

5. 8+ years related experience

6. Fluent in written and spoken English, some regional language will have an added advantage

7. Takes initiative and instills confidence in peers and sales personnel
