Manager, Talent Management and Organizational Effectiveness
Eaton is currently seeking a Manager Talent Management and Organizational Effectiveness to join our team.
The Manager, Talent Management and Organizational Effectiveness (TMOE) is responsible for:
The Manager, TMOE supports the business strategy and impacts business results by developing and leading talent activities with the HR team and business leaders. The talent strategy elements and key focus areas are Align, Attract, Develop and Engage and Retain talent. In order to accomplish these, this role will work on individual, team and organization activities supporting the business strategy within assigned lines of business.
Reporting to the Director, Talent Management and Organizational Effectiveness, the Manager, Talent Management and Organization Effectiveness (Manager, TMOE) is a functional advisor supporting the Electrical Systems and Services Group (ESSG), North American Sales (NAS) and Marketing and Commercial Operations (MCO).
In this role you will:
Responsible for driving the talent strategy, projects and processes within ESSG, NAS and MCO related to aligning, attracting, developing, engaging and retaining talent.
Lead corporate process deployment such as Organizational Capability Assessment (OCA), APEX, employee listening, etc. and group/function projects to improve employee engagement and leader effectiveness.
Align with functions, divisions and regions for ‘know our talent’ activities (talent review, slating, pipeline and successor readiness) to create action plans and monitor progress on an ongoing basis.
Focus on talent attraction through assessment and selection, early talent programs, hiring assessments, networking and exploratory interviews, new leader assimilations and onboarding.
Develop talent through career management, developmental assessments, development activities / programs and coaching.
Engage and retain talent through action plans that help build a more inclusive culture through the I&D council, mentoring, risk analysis, sponsorship and other initiatives.
Serve as a functional advisor for Organizational Assessment and Design (OAD), Organizational Change Management (OCM) and team development projects.
Build HR and leader capability in talent and organizational effectiveness.
Monitor talent metrics and build capability around workforce planning to address tough human resource challenges.
Preferred location is Moon Township, PA; however, could consider candidates located at another Eaton site.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
Minimum 8+ years of HR or related business experience.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field.
Master’s degree in business, HR or other related degree.
Minimum of 5 years of human resources or employee/organizational development experience.
Experience in large multi-national manufacturing organizations.
Certification in coaching, Insights Discovery, organizational assessment and design, organizational change management a plus.
Success in developing and deploying talent initiatives that align to business strategy.
Demonstrated experience in partnering with peers and leaders to achieve results.
Solid analytical skills, including experience using metrics to develop recommendations to leaders.
Successful management of large, cross-division, group or region projects and programs.
Strong communication, consulting and facilitation skills.
Experience managing, coaching and influencing employees, peers and leaders.
