Job Description

The primary function for this position is to be a high performing business partner supporting key global functions within the FMC Division.

Additionally, the Division HRM will serve as the HR Programs leader for the division and Fort Worth headquarters business partner.  As HR Programs leader, the Division HRM will partner with Site HRMs and business operations, to deploy large-scale HR initiatives, programs and processes across the division; develop and deploy standard best practices; coordinate HR Programs and day-to-day personnel activities in accordance with legal, divisional, and corporate guidelines. 

HR Business Partner - Functions

  • Act as a business partner, strategic solution provider, advisor and counselor for the Functional Leadership Team

  • Identify, develop and deploy business-driven HR strategies designed to attract, manage, develop, motivate and retain key people while creating a high-performance, sustainable organization capable of achieving the business objectives and action plans. 

  • Partner to develop a viable, sustainable succession pipeline through tools like OCA (Organizational Capability Assessment)

  • Understand how HR impacts the business and profitability and develop and deploy people strategies to help achieve business-driven objectives and action plans

 

HR Programs Leader & HR Business Partner - Headquarters

  • Plans, organizes, and oversees all HR activities for the  Division HQ. 

  • Align all HR programs, processes and tools with both the short/long-term business objectives and action plans

  • Lead key EBS activities in accordance to business cycle

  • Organizational capability assessments (OCA) to assess pipeline strength, determine skill gaps and identify necessary developmental actions

  • APEX - Achieving Performance EXcellence performance management process and tools to help raise the bar for individual performance, measure sustained improvements, goal-setting and provide coaching and feedback improvement

  • Employee Listening

  • Manager of People (MOP) skill development and training

  • Identify, develop and deploy initiatives and best practices in communications, talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development and total rewards for performance that encourage employee retention, job satisfaction and positive morale

  • Develop talent acquisition plans that anticipate short/long-term business needs

  • Champion and actively support the community outreach, volunteerism and United Way participation

  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws through appropriate program and process management, as well as ad hoc situation analysis and subsequent plans of actions

Qualifications

Minimum (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

  • 6 years of HR experience

  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in HR or Business; SHRM or HRCI certification

  • 8 years with experience partnering with multiple functions across multiple locations

  • Knowledge of employment laws

  • Advanced skills with MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint

  • Ability to understand, interpret and easily communicate and align policies and practices to the Eaton Vision & Leadership Attributes and Code of Ethics

  • Proven ability to influence and work effectively across all levels in a highly-matrixed environment

  • Demonstrate discretion, able to work with sensitive and confidential materials and possess good business judgment

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal across a wide audience

  • Proven ability to deal with conflict and diffuse difficult situations

  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to pull complex data from assorted sources and systems
