Eaton’s Vehicle division is currently seeking a Quality Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Belmond, IA facility.

  • You will manage systems to support Layered Process Audits (LPA’s), IATF systems, Non-Conforming Systems, Customer Certifications, and Corporate Correction Action System. Engineering Systems Administration: Manage Change Control and Redline Processes.

  • You will manage supplier quality processes using standard supplier quality management tools.

  • You will coordinate customer concerns, complaint documentation and support the assignment of corrective actions. This may require contacting customers and/or divisional personnel to obtain input necessary for quality concern/complaint resolution.

  • You will coordinate and drive a structured process to close follow-up actions from various business assessments and audit.

  • You will gather information and report on quality trends and overall results for management review. May meet with customers to describe information flow.

  • You will enter and review plant scrap data daily. Check for accuracy and correct as necessary. Report results to plant daily and during month-end.

  • You will support plant scrap incentives to help reduce cost.

  • You will perform updates to procedures/work instructions as they are created and/or revised and issue as appropriate.

  • You will provide quality support to both internal and external customers and suppliers as needed.

  • You will support plant internal and fresh eyes audit programs.

  • You will review, analyze and close assigned internal or external corrective actions using systematic problem solving techniques.

  • You will act as customer representative.

  • You will maintain confidential information discreetly.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a Quality role.

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship on an ongoing basis.

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of our Belmond, IA facility will be considered.

  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of management, both internally and externally. 

  • Good verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated business acumen, time management and problem solving/process improvement skills.

  • Ability to be self-motivated, goal-oriented and work within a team.

  • Self-Motivated individual who is highly organized and capable of collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve assigned projects and tasks.

Position Success Criteria:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Quality, Engineering or other applicable Major from an accredited institution

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite of tools

  • Prior experience working with root-cause methodology and process improvement.

  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing setting.

  • Prior experience with Quality Core Tools of APQP, MSA, PFMEA, PPAP and SPC

  • Green Belt or Black Belt in DMAIC Process.
