Job Description

The Operations Military Leadership Program (MLP) is a transitional leadership program supporting military veterans as they exit military service. Supporting the Electrical Product Group, the MLP utilizes customized development paths to help each participant successfully gain the knowledge and develop the skills necessary to build a dynamic career in operations management.  The objective of the program is to develop incumbents through practical and hands on experiences in functions like manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and continuous improvement.  Associates in the Military Leadership Program participate in two targeted experiential learning opportunities through prescribed work assignments over a period of 2-3 years, classroom based learning opportunities, active coaching and mentoring through interactions with assigned senior leaders and business partners, and engagement with a variety of other project and peer support initiatives.  Upon completion of the program, employees will be ready to embark in career opportunities in operations leadership.  Both rotations will be geographically located in Lincoln, IL.

Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements):
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 4 years active duty service as a Commissioned Officer or Non Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Armed Forces
  • Must have honorable discharge from any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces and be within  90 days of separation from Active Duty (National Guard or Reservists are eligible) or separated within the last 12 months
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Business preferred
  • MBA or equivalent Master’s level degree
