Eaton’s Vehicle division is currently seeking an HR Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Aguascalientes facility.

Ensure that the plant complies with all relevant employment legislation and company policies.
Support Culture and Organization Effectiveness through understanding the business strategy and identify opportunities to improve organizational capability within the functional areas and drive culture change to align the organization with the strategy.
Must have the ability to diagnose gaps between current and desired organization performance and deploy actions to resolve gap, including organization redesign, process change, coaching and training. Ensure organization practices alignment with Eaton Values and Philosophy.
Promote a positive employee relations climate in the plant through implementation of Eaton Work Practices.
Represent the company in collective bargaining negotiations & management/union meetings.
Supervise the correct maintenance of the human resources information systems for the site in order to ensure data integrity between HR Systems
Assess and select top talent in a timely manner while utilizing Assessment and Selection and partnering with hiring managers. Develop and analyze metrics that measure the success of staffing efforts, build leadership and organizational capability across all functional areas.
Develop the Inclusion & Diversity and Community strategy in conjunction with Plant Manager.
Support plant operations through planning headcount and manning levels as well as recruitment of all levels, as required.
Through the performance management system assure that annual employee job performance assessments are conducted. This includes the annual goal setting process, the annual assessment process and periodic feedback sessions that strive to raise the performance bar in the organization.
Provide coaching and consulting to business leaders on effective performance management intervention. Provide guidance and direction to plant management on complex business and HR issues.
Administer compensation programs to assure competitive pay practices through systems that strive to reward superior employee performance.
Supervise Training and Development processes to facilitate employee development aimed at building core competencies in the area.
Supports the plant’s environment, health and safety management system, e.g., OSHA, ISO14001
Support Corporate initiatives and ensure programs completion on time.
- BS or BA from an accredited institution
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources
- Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience as Human Resources Manager
- Experience in manufacturing Companies
- Bi-lingual (Spanish and English)
Master’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or Business Administration from an accredited institution
- Experience working in a union environment in manufacturing
Strong ethics, values, and the ability to influence and impact others’ decision making
- Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills
- Experience with positive employee relations and programs
- Knowledge of HR compliance and legal issues
