Eaton’s Industrial Group is seeking a Program Manager I for its Hydraulics Fluid Conveyance division. The Program Manager position will be located at its Maumee, OH facility. 


Position Overview :

 The Program Manager I - Commercial will be responsible for the design, development and execution of commercial projects aligned to the Eaton Fluid Conveyance growth strategy in the Americas region. In this role you will collaborate with product management on business goals, partner with marketing communications on corporate standards and lead marketing content delivery that effectively positions our portfolio in the market across distribution, aftermarket and OEM sales channels.


The Program Manager I – Commercial should be able to manage traditional and digital marketing campaigns, be extremely web-savvy, take pride in enhancing our digital presence, and be able to steer our tactical and strategic direction through data that tells a meaningful story.

Essential Functions:
  • You will provide cross functional leadership to identify and deliver on commercial project objectives

  • You will facilitate marketing content ideation and creation aligned to corporate brand standards

  • You will manage marketing project pipeline, prioritization and execution to budget and timeline

  • You will execute across all marketing delivery channels to maximize outreach and ROI (web, mobile, video, email, print, social, lead generation, etc.)

  • You will leverage Eaton automation tools for efficiency and scale (Eloqua, Percolate, Abode, CRM, MDM, etc.)

  • You will gather customer feedback to inform sales and product teams on improvement opportunities

  • You will manage internal resources, external suppliers and invoices tied to approved marketing projects   

  • You will establish, track and report campaign performance metrics regularly to stakeholders

  • You will update product marketing content across our websites and databases (, PowerSource, MDM)

  • You will create and/or revise print catalog design files with revision control to online procurement warehouse

  • You will develop email campaigns promoting programs across multiple target audiences and sales channels

  • You will design graphics from concept to creation for marketing assets, sales collateral, advertising or special events

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, communications or relevant field of study.

  • Minimum of three  years of graphic design experience with a portfolio or samples of work to show.

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. 

  • Relocation is not being offered for this position. Candidates must currently reside within a 50 mile-radius of Maumee, OH.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite programs such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.

  • Excellent copy writing and editing skills with the ability to make design recommendations and present information clearly and creatively

  • Training in marketing automation platforms
  • Experience managing projects or working in project team environments

  • Must be capable of leading effectively in diverse cultural situations with our customers and team members.

  • Must be capable of initiating and providing recommendations for Division and Group Senior Leadership Team’s review and approval that will achieve desired customer outcomes.

  • Self-starter with the desire to take ownership while assuming accountability of projects, initiatives and new ideas.

  • Ability to work independently and successfully complete work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
