International Sales Representative GDL CSC
Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking an International Sales Representative to join our team. This position is based at our Tlajomulco facility.
The International Sales Representative is responsible to support outside sales engineers, management and internal/external customers in providing effective solutions to challenging problems involving technical, service, and commercial issues for all ECPS products for LA North & South. Activities include: Pricing & lead time availability, timely communication with customers & all ECPS internal areas to facilitate issue resolution. Proactive identification of sales potential and follow-up to secure orders. Provide ongoing customer service with minimal supervision and direction. The Inside Sales Representative will utilize a combination of customer and distributor support techniques to achieve orders and sales objectives for electrical solutions to a wide variety of customers.

Some activities related with the position will be:
Provides support to LA North & South sales teams to meet monthly / quarterly / annual sales goals established by the business
Establishes and maintains the highest possible commercial relations with present and potential customers (internal and external) by effectively employing the highest level of skills with regard to the knowledge of customers business and organization and knowledge of Eaton product lines and strategic plans.
Coordinates with marketing and sales to provide documentation for customers to look at product information and solutions.
Submits response to field sales and customer channel inquiries including price, lead time, selling policy. Do so in a manner consistent with established division profit, sales, and customer satisfaction objectives.
Performs as liaison for field and customers in dealing with functional departments, i.e., engineering, manufacturing, marketing, logistics, and plants.
Completes customer quotes and coordinate renewal of quotes as required that are within its pricing authority per BU’s guidelines, and addresses to appropriate proposal’s channels the ones that are not. Follow-up on orders and quotations and provide information and updates to customers and sales engineers.
Contacts pro-actively customers following quotes and sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaint or objections. Facilitate timely solutions to customer issues by utilizing available resources or creating procedures for resolution.
Increases sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items
Coordinates freight rates quotations according to customer’s incoterms and ensure options provided are the most competitive.
Trains peers and customers as appropriate. Serve as a mentor, and support for internal teams and departments.
Provides direction and solutions on process improvements, lead project teams and serve as team member for special projects to drive continuous improvement and the team’s performance.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Bi-lingual / Fluent in English (Business English)
3 years of commercial experience (Customer Service, Sales, Marketing etc)
Experience or exposure to a manufacturing organization.
- International Trade Incoterms knowledge
- Experience ERP (SAP preferred).
