EHS Sr Engineer
Eaton’s Aerospace division is currently seeking a EHS Sr Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our Tijuana facility.
The EHS Sr Engineer is responsible to support environmental, health, safety, and security efforts at the site. Individual is accountable for: leading EHS activities at his/her location(s), including: maintaining EHS systems and processes such as monitoring and measurement systems, reporting and communication of EHS metrics, collection and organization of EHS action items, supporting EHS training initiatives, leading and supporting EHS teams, leads / supports incident investigations, and supports site internal assessment activities. The position drives continuous improvement in safety while utilizing the framework of the Eaton Business System (EBS) and the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF).

Some activities related with the position will be:
Responsible to maintain and improve documents and records control of the Management System of Environmental, Safety, Security and Health (MESH)
Establish the process to develop the annual risk assessment at the location to identify critical EHS hazards and environmental aspects.
Responsible to the tracking of appropriate leading and lagging indicators to track EHS performance.
Responsible to the tracking of EHS goals for the site and establish plan action and activities to achieve the goals and improve EHS engagement through EHS teams and committees
Develop campaigns to promotes zero incident EHS culture throughout site.
Coordinate the annual MESH self-assessment (evaluation of compliance for EHS country, state, and local regulations ) with EHS Manager and MESH element champions. As well the monthly legal compliance review.
Supports efforts for third party recognition for programs that establish the site and Eaton’s EHS program as world class.
Responsible to support on using established EHS data processes such as MESH Prism to manage data.
Responsible to the control of the process of Management of change.
Create training matrices to ensure that all training is defined and tracked to completion

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree
- Strong communication skills
- 1 to 3 years of experience
Ability to identify state, and country EHS requirements.
- Ability to facilitate EHS teams
Ability to utilize company-wide system for reporting EHS data and information
- Ability to conduct training
Associate Degree four (4) year degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental discipline or equivalent.
