Job Description

Eaton’s Aerospace Division is currently seeking an EMT Coordinator to join our team.

This position is based at our Jackson, Michigan facility.

 

The EMT Coordinator exhibits expertise in planning and buying practices for production and leads others to ensure customer orders are completed on time at the lowest possible cost. Manages and identifies areas for improvement in the following areas: Purchasing tools, ERP SMART rules, shortage resolution, expedites, customer requests, manufacturing efficiency, capacity management, and order confirmation for site 46 and 50. The EMT Coordinator  serves as a liaison between manufacturing site and contract holder to support Swissco model.  This role reviews, analyzes, and suggest fixes in EMT errors. The coordinator will generate the Multi-Channel Audit Report in Pharos system rectifying the errors in the report.

  • You will act as an essential resource for scheduling, planning, purchasing, and expediting the fulfillment of manufacturing and customer service requirements
  • You will expedite orders for customers where possible, expedite shortages with buyers, communicate updates to customer service through AMR’s with intercites specifically Site 42 and HPD
  • You will resolve EMT Errors such as duplicate shipments, missed invoicing from the PBU for orders that have shipped out of the SBU, customer schedule orders that are not matched between the PBU and the SBU duplicate orders for future shipments
  • You will support potential miss meetings to ensure on time completion of critical orders, being proactive
  • For area of responsibility you will: minimize past due sales dollars, quality issues, resolve supplier shortages, and ensure customer on-time delivery
  • You will supports plant continuous improvement teams
  • You will serve as a liaison between manufacturing site and contract holder to support Swissco model.  
  • You will review, analyze, and suggest fixes in EMT errors
  • You will generate the Multi-Channel Audit Report in Pharos system rectifying the errors in the report
  • You will define and apply complex data analysis and analytical tools for process improvements
  • You will prepare reports and other correspondence for use by Eaton SCM professionals
  • You will drive process channel knowledge for acquiring materials and/or services in order to ensure delivery requirements for commodities and/or service customers
  • You will possess sound knowledge and applications skills of the supply chain process; and possesses strong ability to analyze and interpret cost drivers when developing cost out strategies
  • You will possess sound knowledge of supply chain and purchasing reporting systems, Eaton commodity products and supplier resources, quality assurance, and applications skills of process improvements
  • You will possess sound knowledge of commodity management; including vendor selection, purchasing, performance metrics, and continuous process improvement

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree required
  • One year of manufacturing, supply chain, and/or production experience
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).  All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.  ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee
 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expert knowledge in work order management, scheduling, production, capacity planning, BOM material management, item master setup, MRP principles
  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management

  • Must be manufacturing oriented, team player, problem solver, and possess negotiation skills for handling hourly workers, buyers, and manufacturing supervisors
  • Must exhibit a high degree of reliability, problem solving, resource planning and purchasing skills, scheduling, and leadership skills to ensure results.
  • The incumbent receives numerous inquiries and must project confidence, courtesy, firmness, organization, and ability to analyze large amounts of data
  • Strong communications and customer care skills when interacting with both internal and/or external customers
