Job Description

  1. Analyze, plan, develop and administer the training & development programs for all personnel of Eaton, and support Corporate training initiatives.
  2. Assists in determining training needs based on assessments and requirements, for salaried and hourly employees at all Haina facilities.
  3. Supervises and coordinates the staffing of in-house programs as needed.
  4. Leads and directs conferences and training sessions.
  5. Assess training effectiveness
  6. Researches sources of required training and makes recommendations in order to select the best vendor / source
  7. Assist in assuring compliance with regulations through the development of training programs
  8. Woks as a liaison with Eaton University to deploy corporate initiatives such as Lean, EQS, Six Sigma, APEX, and Eaton philosophy reinforcements.
  9. Maintain a library of reference materials, periodicals, videos, etc. for employee use.
  10. Support for the OCA program.
  11. Supervises the maintenance of training records and provides reports as needs.
  12. Maintains information on outside training sources such as seminars, college courses or other classes.
  13. Supports / assists in the management of employee involvement teams through the identification of training needs.
  14. Maintains internal scholarship programs for employee involvement
  15. Woks with Asobal-Infotep in the deployment of trainings related to internal needs.
 

Qualifications

  1. Professional graduated in Business Administration, Industrial Psychology or related areas,
    1. Preferable: Masters or Postgraduate in Human Resources
  2. Minimum experience of 5 - 7 years in the training area
  3. Bilingual (Spanish and English)
  4. Strong PC: knowledge:  Microsoft Office. Preferable: Oracle
  5. Preferable: certified trainer for management programs,
